New Year, New Home!

2011 experienced quite dramatic peaks and troughs in London Lettings and indeed this time 12 months ago, there was a serious shortage of properties. Agents across London just could not meet the demand and as a result Landlords were achieving over asking price rents for the first time in 18 months!

We do think that this January could see the same again so our advice to prospective tenants is simple:

1. Be prepared to act – if you see a property you like be ready to offer and proceed immediately.

2. Be realistic – know your budget and don’t expect to get a bargain.

3. Listen to your negotiator – not only are we ARLA trained but we also know what is happening on a daily basis in the London Lettings market. The media is often a few months out of date.
