Colbeck Mews is located between Courtfield Road and Harrington Gardens and close to Gloucester Road Underground. Only the northern row of the street contains mews cottages. It is possible that the mews was named after a Kensington land owner, Reverend William Colbeck, with the name gaining official approval in 1875.
